What I can help with
New websites
A website where people can find out about your business, see what you offer, and get in touch. I build sites for small businesses, clubs, community organizations, and independent professionals.
Website refreshes
Your site may only need changes to a few pages, the layout, or the navigation. We can decide what to keep and what to update. Full redesigns are quoted separately.
Small updates and fixes
I can replace a menu or PDF, update text or photos, add a page, or look into a form or layout problem. I quote each request separately, including any setup or troubleshooting it needs.
Ongoing WordPress care
I handle routine WordPress updates, backups, monitoring, and form checks. Care is optional; you can hire me for a one-time project without signing up for a plan.
I mostly work with WordPress. If your site uses another platform or needs a custom build, let’s talk about whether I can help. I can also quote for forms, payment links, hosting moves, and small integrations when they fit the project.

Pricing for one-time website work
I quote each job based on the work involved. A small edit will have a different quote from a new website, and you don’t need a monthly care plan to hire me.
Small updates and fixes
Send me the change or problem you need help with. I’ll confirm what the job includes and what it will cost before I start. The $500 starting price for refreshes isn’t a minimum for every request. Getting access to the site, its current condition, and any troubleshooting can affect the quote.
Focused website refreshes
Focused refreshes start at $500. We agree on which parts of your existing site to update, such as a few pages, the way content is organized, or a particular layout. The price depends on the number of pages, the changes you need, and the site’s current condition. This starting price doesn’t cover a complete new website or a full redesign.
New websites and full redesigns
For a new website or a full redesign, I’ll put together a quote based on the pages, content, features, and setup involved. I’ll list any hosting, domain, paid software, or ongoing service costs separately.
Sometimes I need to investigate a problem before I can quote for the repair. If there’s a charge for that investigation, I’ll explain it and get your approval before I begin.
How it works
1. Tell me what you need
Tell me what you have in mind. Send your website address if you have one, and let me know about any deadlines or requirements.
2. Talk through the work
I’ll read your message, ask questions, and let you know whether I can help. If I need to do paid investigation first, we’ll discuss that before I start.
3. Approve the quote
I’ll explain what the job includes, the price, and the expected schedule. You can then decide whether to go ahead.
4. Review the changes
I’ll do the work we’ve agreed on and share it with you to check. I’ll publish the updates once you’ve approved them.
A little about me
I’m Brett Moulton. I run Sineplay Studio from Gardner, Massachusetts. My background is in IT and web development, including WordPress, hosting, domains, email, and custom web applications.
I keep the studio small so you work directly with me. You can ask questions and talk through the work with the person doing it.
